Please refer to the earlier post Ruislip Lido – Council forced to release report

The Council have finally released the scoping report to me.  Please click on this this link to access it: Ruislip Lido Scoping Report by Halcrow 19th April 2010

I can only assume they were reluctant to release it as it showed that they had not thought through the plans announced by Cllr Ray Puddifoot in January 2010.  These included the raising of water levels to allow the  introduction of  boating and swimming .

The report indicates that a considerable amount of work needed to be done to ensure that this could be done without increasing the flood risk for the properties  built on the  flood plain down stream of the Lido.
