Hillingdon Streets - the Second Dirtiest in London

A GLA survey of street and local environment cleanliness shows that 43% of the land surveyed in Hillingdon was below a good or acceptable standard. Of the 31 Boroughs only one, Havering at 44%, was dirtier that Hillingdon. The figures which cover the period 2005 to 2006 show Hillingdon had actually got dirtier by 9% since the previous year.

Litter levels “Unsatisfactory” - Its official

The recently published Local Environment Quality Report - L B Hillingdon produced by ENCAMS gives the Borough a rating under Cleansing Standards - Litter of “Unsatisfactory”. The survey was carried out between April 2006 and March 2007.
